Between Surprise “!” and Wonder “?”
Branding for Aeon Fantasy’s new vision “Asobi!? Manabi!?” (Play!? Learn!?). Representing the company’s stance as an “edutainment” enterprise that fuses entertainment and education, the project centered on developing a website as a hub to share its worldview. The site delivers multifaceted content, from facilities and programs nationwide to interviews and research findings.
The logo combines the exclamation of surprise—“Amazing!”—with the question of curiosity—“Why?”—into a single “!?.” This symbol reflects the cycle of moving from wonder to curiosity and back again, expressing the excitement that expands in children’s minds. It conveys a brand evolving with the times while asking, “Is it play? Is it learning?”
Key visuals for posters and the website depicted children worldwide with “!?” floating above their heads, symbolizing the spread of play and learning into the future. At the bottom of the website, a typography pattern paired everyday words with “!?,” suggesting that any experience can become material for edutainment.
驚き「！」と不思議「？」のあいだ
イオンファンタジーが掲げる新ビジョン「あそび!? まなび!?」のブランディング。エンターテインメントとエデュケーションを融合させた「エデュテイメント」企業としての姿勢を象徴し、その世界観を発信する拠点としてWEBサイトを制作しました。全国の施設やコンテンツ、インタビューや調査結果など、多角的な情報を届けています。
ロゴは子どもが「すごい！」と声をあげる驚きと、「なぜだろう？」と考える不思議をかけ合わせた「!?」をシンボル化。不思議から驚きへ、驚きから不思議へと巡る循環を通じ、子どもの頭の中に広がるワクワク感を表現しました。「あそびなのか!? まなびなのか!?」という問いを楽しみながら、時代とともに進化するブランドの姿勢を示しています。
ポスターやWEBのキービジュアルには「!?」を頭上に浮かべた世界中の子どもたちを描き、遊びと学びが未来へ広がる像を提示。WEBサイト下部では多様な言葉に「!?」を添えたタイポグラフィパターンを展開し、日常の体験すべてをエデュテイメントの題材へと広げる可能性を示しました。
