YOU MAKE SHIBUYA
A Form That Embraces Others and Keeps Changing
Branding for Shibuya City’s new vision “YOU MAKE SHIBUYA.” Centered on diversity and inclusion, the message was established to outline the city’s future and serve as a shared phrase for residents to align with Shibuya’s direction.
The symbol was inspired by new colors emerging as different hues blend together. Constantly shifting and refusing to remain fixed, the visual embodied Shibuya’s philosophy itself. Its ever-changing form symbolized the city’s dynamism, evolving as it absorbs new times and cultures.
The vision was deployed across websites, outdoor screens, station posters, workshop tools for schools, and various novelties, naturally integrating into citizens’ daily lives. “YOU MAKE SHIBUYA” is a call to everyone connected to the city, expressing the belief that the driving force of change is, in fact, “you.”
他者を受け入れ、変化し続ける形
渋谷区の新たなシティ・ビジョン「YOU MAKE SHIBUYA」のブランディング。多様性（ダイバーシティ）と包摂（インクルージョン）を中核に据え、都市の未来像を示すメッセージとして策定されました。渋谷という街が歩む方向性を、区民とともに共有するための合言葉です。
シンボルは、異なる色が混じり合うことで生まれる新しい色彩をモチーフに。他者を受け入れながら常に姿を変え、固定されることを拒むビジュアルは、渋谷区が掲げる理念そのもの。ひとつに定まらず変化し続ける姿は、時代や文化を取り込みながら進化する街・渋谷のダイナミズムを象徴しています。
Webサイトや街頭ビジョン、駅貼りポスター、小中学校でのワークショップツール、ノベルティグッズなど、区民の日常に溶け込む多様な場に展開。「YOU MAKE SHIBUYA」は渋谷に関わるすべての人への呼びかけであり、変わり続ける街の原動力は「あなた」であるという想いを映し出しています。
