Melodies Radiating into Light
Artwork for “Tokyo Blue,” an album by Kazuhisa Watari, vocalist and pianist of the piano trio Fumido. Built on an urban blues foundation, the music is woven with a warm, human touch.
The cover shows Watari at the piano in his trademark hat, with melodies flowing from his hands and spreading as light—holding both the city’s solitude and the warmth music can bring.
The world extends into merchandise: a towel embroidered with a hat over a dotted pattern inspired by his shirt, and a tote featuring a keyboard motif—carrying the album’s resonance into daily life.
光となって広がる旋律
渡Watary「東京ブルー」のアートワーク。都会的なブルースを基調に、温かみあるサウンドで綴られた本作は、ピアノトリオバンド風味堂のボーカル＆ピアノマンとして知られる渡和久のアルバムです。
ジャケットには、トレードマークのハットを被りピアノに向かうWataryの姿を描き、その手元からあふれる旋律が光となって広がる様子を表現。都市の喧騒の中で生まれる孤独や憂いとともに、音楽がもたらす希望と温もりを象徴しています。
世界観は、シャツのドット模様にハットを重ねて刺繍したハンドタオルや、鍵盤をモチーフとしたトートバッグへも展開。ジャケットの物語を受け継ぎながら、日常の中に音楽の余韻を宿すアイテムとしました。
