Repainting Japan in Green

WithGreen is a salad bowl specialty brand founded in 2016 with the mission of making salad a staple of the Japanese diet. By combining locally sourced, seasonal vegetables with ingredients like meat and brown rice, each bowl is carefully crafted to offer a well-balanced and satisfying meal—full of flavor, texture, and nutrition.

In 2021, WithGreen underwent a comprehensive rebranding under the creative concept: “A single bowl of salad can repaint Japan’s vegetable-deficient diet in green.” Guided by this message, the brand identity was redesigned across all touchpoints—including the logo, copywriting, spatial design, signage, tools, merchandise, and website.

At the heart of the visual identity is a vibrant, organic green brushstroke. Symbolizing the very act of "repainting," this flexible graphic element maintains its meaning regardless of its shape or ratio, allowing for dynamic adaptation across applications. In-store, the bold brushstrokes expand into the space itself, creating a consistent and immersive brand experience.

Today, WithGreen has grown to 33 locations across Japan—including Tokyo, Osaka, and Fukuoka—and continues to expand its services with initiatives like OFFICE SALAD for corporate clients. With a focus on sustainability through local sourcing and food waste reduction, the brand is redefining what healthy, purpose-driven eating can be.

緑に塗り替える

WithGreenは、「サラダを日本の主食に」という想いのもと、2016年に誕生したサラダボウル専門店です。国産・旬の野菜を中心に、肉や玄米とのバランス、味や食感の工夫を重ねた一杯のサラダボウルを提供しています。

2021年、リブランディングにあたって、「一杯のサラダボウルが、野菜が不足しがちな日本の食生活を“緑”に塗り替えていく」というコンセプトを掲げ、このメッセージを軸に、ロゴ、コピー、店舗空間、サイン、各種ツール、グッズ、WEBまで、ブランド全体を再構築しました。

シンボルには、有機的で鮮やかな緑色のクラフトペイントを採用。「塗り替える」という行為そのものをモチーフにし、ペイント比率を変えても意味が変わらない柔軟なデザインに仕上げています。店舗やツールごとに自由度高く展開できるのも特徴です。店舗空間では、ペイントのダイナミックなタッチが大胆に空間に拡がり、ブランドの臨場感と一貫性を演出しています。

現在WithGreenは、東京・大阪・福岡をはじめとする全国33店舗へと拡大しながら、法人向けの「OFFICE SALAD」など新たなサービスも展開中。地産地消やフードロス削減といった社会課題にも取り組みながら、食のあるべき姿を再定義し続けています。
