Creating New Connections for the World
Branding for “Nextender,” an innovation initiative by JTB. For over a century, the company has connected people and cultures through travel, and this project leverages its expertise and networks to establish a hub for creating new value.
The name “Nextender” combines “nex” (connection), “next” (possibility), “extend” (expansion), and “er” (agent), defining each employee as someone who links values and broadens the future. It positions innovation not as a side activity but as a core pursuit of the company’s evolution.
The key visual depicted seeds of innovation scattered across society and organizations as colorful spheres, connected and integrated by human-like lines that form the figure of Nextender. A silver rectangle in the background symbolized the current business domain, while its expanding frame represented the extension into new possibilities.

旅行会社JTBのイノベーション創発プロジェクト「Nextender」のブランディング。100年以上にわたり旅を通じて人と文化をつないできたJTBが、培った知見とネットワークを活かし、新たな価値を創造する拠点として立ち上げた取り組みです。
人・文化・価値観をつなぎ、新しい事業を創出する存在として、「nex（つながり）」「next（次の可能性）」「extend（拡張）」「er（担い手）」を組み合わせ「nextender／ネクステンダー」と命名。社員一人ひとりを、価値をつなぎ未来を広げていく存在として定義しました。
キービジュアルでは、社会や組織に点在するイノベーションの種をカラフルな球体で表現。それらをつなぎ融合させるnextenderを、人の形を模した線で描きました。背景のシルバーの矩形は現在の事業領域を示し、そこから枠が拡張していく未来を象徴しています。
